Fully Funded Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarship for international students in Germany

Applications are being accepted for Fully Funded Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarship for international students in Germany. The Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarships are available for undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees. Students from any academic discipline are eligible to apply to study in Germany. Each year, up to 40 students are awarded FES scholarships to study in Germany for free. Friedrich Germany Scholarships 2023 are given to high-achieving students and comprise a complete seminar programme to help candidates improve their social and academic skills.

Eligibility

Scholarships are available to qualified candidates who fit the following criteria:

For Undergraduate and Masters:
  • Confirmation of study location or enrollment certificate at a state or state-recognized German university or technical college for the course for which they wish to be funded
  • Foreign applicants must additionally demonstrate adequate German language proficiency.
  • First-year students (Germans and educated international students) must apply before or at the start of the first semester.
For PhD:
  • Unconditional acceptance into the doctoral scholarship
  • Foreign applicants must additionally demonstrate adequate German language proficiency.

Scholarship Covers

Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarship is Fully funded scholarship for international students to study  bachelors, master’s or doctoral degree in Germany. The following are the details of the covered expenses:

  • The entire tuition fee will be covered.
  • This scholarship programme will pay the costs of living and studying in the Germany.
  • Monthly Stipend of 750 EUR for Bachelor’s degree
  • Monthly Stipend of 850 EUR for Master’s degree
  • Researchers with a kid receive a family stipend of 276 EUR.
  • Accommodation, book allowance, health insurance, and other expenses.

Other Requirements  

  • Outstanding educational or academic achievement (where required: first graded proofs of academic achievement)
  • Social and political participation, as well as adherence to the values of social democracy
  • Individuals that are responsible, motivated, and dependable and want to be a part of the Foundation’s network
  • Although the classes are held in English, sufficient understanding of German is required.
